An incredibly rare and unique board game -- Whitechapel 1888: Jack the Ripper's Playground is a board game based on the historical, unsolved murders which took place in the East End of London in 1888 by serial killer, Jack the Ripper. It was released by Parlourmaid Games in 2003. Produced in Great Britain. Shown on the PBS series Whitechapel - 1st season. It's a one of a kind game. Historical as well. Game has been opened, but not used. And is actually signed by the game designers, Andy and Sue Parlour, making it even more of a Collector's Item!
For 3 to 6 players aged 12+. One player takes the role of "Jack the Ripper" and the others will take the roles of his 5 potential victims. The object of the game is for the potential victims to escape Jack's clutches and to reach the safety of Scotland Yard Police Station. Jack wins if he eliminates the victims and evades capture by the police. There is an option for a seventh player to play the role of "PC White" during the game's concluding phase.
The game consists of cards, dice, pawns, and game board.
